I had a wonderful stay at a lovely Art Deco cottage in De Waterkant. The location was excellent, with many attractions within walking distance, including the V&A Waterfront and Green Market Square. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and had a vibrant, charming vibe. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing me to cook a delicious dinner during my stay. The host was also very pleasant and easily reachable via WhatsApp. The icing on the cake was the strong WiFi and good coffee available in the cottage. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and convenient stay in Cape Town.

Although there was only one bathroom in the two-bedroom cottage, it was accessible through a courtyard, so the other person could walk through the courtyard instead of going through the first bedroom. Additionally, there were some parking challenges due to the narrow lane, but this was not the management's fault.

The house was spacious and beautifully furnished, perfect for a couple or two individuals. The property was secure with lots of locks and an alarm, located in a gated area. It had a great location, just a 10-minute walk to V&A Mall and close to convenience stores, coffee shops, and bars. The property even arranged a friendly taxi driver to pick us up from the airport.

The cottage can get quite warm as there is no ceiling fan or air conditioning. However, there are many fans available which help to cool down the space.

Although the cottage was wonderful, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. However, this was not the management's fault but rather their neighbor's parking habits.
